A. PROCEDURE - GENERAL

List cases under Code 374 when an earnings adjustment has been authorized (including any for military service) or when it becomes known that an earnings posting is still in the process of being posted.

B. PROCEDURE - SITUATIONS

1. Adjustments

List when processing adjustment forms (Forms SSA-7000-U5, SSA-7010-U5, SSA-4500-U6, or SSA-9432).

2. E/R Posting Still In Process

List if the posting of reported earnings has been delayed (e.g., there is a problem with an employer's report) see RS 01404.160.

3. Prelag Development

List if excluding a year from the computation of benefits in accordance with instructions in RS 01404.110.

4. Disposition

Cancel the listing when established that any subsequent AERO output reflects the corrected earnings, delayed posting, or military service periods for the year(s) at issue.

C. DESCRIPTION OF AUTOMATED EARNINGS REAPPRAISAL OPERATION (AERO)

Cases listed under Code 374 will identify any AERO action for a claims authorizer review.

(This is to insure that the E/R revision made, delayed posting, or military service is taken into account in processing any AERO action.)
